I almost Monkeyed this post due to the elephant in the room- Absolutely NOTHING about Ole Miss. ==============================
In the Ole Miss game on October 2, 1971, Kitchens rushed for 97 yards, passed for 140 on only 2 attempts, scored three touchdowns, and had an 86 yard quick kick in the first half as the Tide built an insurmountable 40-6 lead at halftime. Kitchens coached halfbacks and tight ends in the second half.
