We met with another surgeon fora 2nd opinion on the surgery she will need. He had access to the scans she had yesterday……it has not spread! It is contained! Still waiting for gene test results and meet with oncologist tomorrow (maybe she will have results) for plan going forward. We are overjoyed at this news. Still a lot to do and find out but this was huge news for us. We haven’t slept good since the news and now we feel like we can breathe again.
Chemo was spot on with all of knowledge and how he thought it would go. He is such a great resource and person who was willing to share his expertise and time with me.
Thanks to all who said prayers or wished us good luck.
Hopefully I’ll be able to report a successful surgery and recovery in the near future.
