Message Replied To ========== Mississippi votes to change its State flag https://www.clarionledger.com/story/news/politics/2020/06/27/mississippi-state-flag-change-reeves-will-sign-bill/3269788001/        These States are on the clock:   Alabama                  Florida                   Arkansas                   Georgia, who was especially sneaky about it.  Sticking the State seal right in the middle of their old official flag of the Confederacy                     ============================== It is based on the Flag of the Spanish Viceroy, which flew over Florida (and southern Alabama) longer than any other flag ever has. That being said, I would approve of a change to my state's flag if we were to adopt something that truly represents us as Floridians: namely a plain white flag embossed with our state motto "Get Off My Lawn!"
