"I'm not in the all or none game . . . some "riots" are justified "

If so...more riots. *

There are real injustices being conducted by the police and the criminal justice system.  However, I will apply my own sense to these matters.  And just as the evidence suggested that Mike Brown was not murdered but the cop was justified in his actions, I cannot look at this and say for sure murder.  Should the cop have shot him?  I'm reminded of a video investigator likes to post about a cop not acting and then being murdered in cold blood.  I think the cop was in the wrong and so was the perp.  I think the evidence suggest this person should have been taken to jail . . . falling asleep in a Wendy's drive through is evidence of impairment . .  the kind that ends other people's lives.  So to my mind this all boils down to should he have used his service revolver.  Given what took place and that I'm standing over here looking at it . . . I don't think he should have.  But that line is as close as I've ever seen it in a case . . . the perp turned and tried to us a tazer on him . . .

I'm open to charges for the police officer of some kind . . . negligence . . . but murder is a bridge too far.
