Reason Oracle World has been in SFO is due to proximity. If I could afford a similar size home, I'd move to sfo tomorrow. All large cities have their problems, but the far Right likes to pile on SFO because of its liberal policies. Americans should take pride in cities like SFO, NYC, and Boston. San Fran is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

issues with homelessness. You shouldn't make an area inviting to the homeless. the homeless need help, mostly mental help, not enabling their addictions.
We have a homeless encampment 2 blocks from our office. the Gentrification of Birmingham stops about 2 blocks on the other side of the encampment.
They built a new VA clinic about 5 blocks from our house. The homelessness in Highland Park area (specifically Caldwell Park) exploded within days of the clinic openings. Also, the break-ins of cars and homes increased along with the homeless population.
I have empathy for the homeless and thank God every day I am not. However, there are plenty of shelters (one a block away from my office) but you have to want to help yourself of they won't let you in. These folks needs mental health help and drug rehab...not enabling.
