Monday, to try and do a full bowel dye xray...in November they tried but there was an obstruction so they did surgery to open it up and wanted to wait six months. They went in and damn if they didnt find another obstruction further into bowels...but linings all look good. Poor child had a dozen enemas this week and then dye into his intestines..
The resident looked at pics they took on Tuesday and was astounded that some of the dye still in guts from November. Guess he needs to bone up on MMIHS.
Surgeon getting with Alex's regular doctor to map out next step.. he mentioned surgery again and Alex's parents arent cool with another operation any time soon.
He is growing though... still a small soon to be 3 year old but getting there. Still has speech issues they are working on. Starts a special needs school this fall- pre K.
Oh, and he sign languaged staff in recovery room that he still hates the barn...
