"sad to say Terrance Howard passed away today"

he could have chosen Kentucky, but he chose Auburn.  won the 1985 SEC Tourney.  NCAA every year.  hilarious guy.   had a stroke and couldn't recover.   he loved Auburn.   great guy that had a great life.

back in the 80's, Cosby show was # 1.   one practice, Terrance said, "Coach, we need to hurry up or we're going to be late for Cosby".     needless to say, they missed Cosby that night.

some of the football players got tired about hearing the freshman talk about how great he was.  KFC had a national all star basketball game and Terrance always said he was the MVP in the KFC.  he was a big fan of plaid and bow ties.  one day the football players took turns walking by him standing in front of Sewell Hall asking him what he was doing.   He was waiting on a big booster to come pick him up and take him to dinner.   after about 2 hours someone finally told him some of the football players had pranked him.

funniest thing ever was after the last game of the season was at home.  Terrance was a freshman.  G White told me to wait for him after the game and we'd go get a $5 pitcher of beer.   so Terrance found out and wanted to ride with us.  We were sitting in the car while he was walking toward us and the girl he was seeing started yelling at him.   She told him he better leave with her.  He said he wanted to go with us.  She continued to yell and finally yelled (really loud btw) "Terrance Howard!!  Next time you want some sex you better go (blank) Gerald white!!!"        Gerald wasn't too happy with that obviously so we left while I was dying laughing.

seeing his name come up on caller ID always brought a smile because you knew it was going to be funny.  he will be greatly missed
