That his conduct during the hearings and surrounding the hearings . . . contacting witnesses . . . his partisan statement . . . his conduct at the hearing . . .
do any of these give you pause about his confirmation as a SCOTUS justice who is supposed to be even and composed? ==============================
It bothered me. He came across as angry and resentful. If he could have remained stern but not angry, it would have come across better, IMO. He called out the Democrats and made it clear he viewed the process as a political circus, and he'll always be viewed through that political prism going forward. In other words, I thought he hurt his credibility as an impartial jurist, outside of the accusation itself.
