The couple up front are my Dad's 95 year old twin brother Bert and his 92 year old wife Roberta. The rest of the crowd are all the descendants of one Charles Hemming McInnis who had seven children over a span of 20 years with two wives from 1903 through 1923. Uncle Bert was the youngest (Dad was first out of the chute). We've been getting together semi-annually at various places (mostly Guntersville) since 1976 after my Grandmother died. All of the first generation except Bert are gone and the oldest of the next generation is now 72. My younger brother is the youngest of the next generation at 56. The youngsters are Bert and Roberta's great grandchildren. My wife, four kids, and soon to be daughter in law are all in there and as usual for group shots I'm on the back row. Cousins came from as far as Chicago, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. A good time was had by all. Weather was perfect, it was probably 75 degrees with a breeze on the deck outside the lodge.
