First off, I want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers over the last 12 weeks. Also appreciate all those who Mud mailed with encouragement and support. Wanted to let everyone know that Avery was discharged this morning after 9 weeks in residency and 3 weeks in the outpatient program in Denver. Hardest thing I've ever been through but so grateful to the Great Physician and the incredibly capable earthly doctors and therapists who helped her through this part of her recovery. Still work to do but, barring a weather delay, she will be home tomorrow night! She has truly displayed the heart of a warrior as she went through this. Continue to pray and keep her in your thoughts as she makes this transition home. It will provide its own set of hurdles but she is physically healthy and mentally prepared to continue the fight. Thanks again! God is good.
