12 months ago today, the little man had major surgery on his intestines; then spent 6 weeks in Children's Hospital before he could go home; then was diagnosed with that awful gene mutation; fitted with nourishment device in his chest; has his bladder cathered 3-4 times a day; has had several medical crises since, cut, poked, pricked, tested, etc......and now look at him. A smiling, happy little boy.
Our family is truely blessed to have Alex in our lives.
