"Where is Genoa when you need him? Last night about 11 I got the police to help "
me break into the house of a 93 yr old lady who is a church member. Her daughter had called me from B'ham because there was no answer from calls to her. I went over and the house was dark, rang the door bell 6 or 7 times -- no answer. Went around the house and banged on all the windows -- nothing.
The police came and they banged on the windows and then we took the glass door out of its track and got in. She was in her room reading and surprised to see us. Her hearing is not as good as it used to be.
The police roughed her up a little and tased her -- they said procedure required it on cases where they call out more than 2 patrol cars -- but she will be fine in a few days.
