Class President was giving a speech and mentioned some of the accomplishments of the seniors. He was listing the students who had signed athletic scholarships and with what school. The last one was Rashaan Evans and the President said he "signed to play football at not Auburn". Got a few laughs.
I was also proud to see my daughter graduate after missing 50+ days each of her sophmore, junior and senior years. She is about over her Lyme Disease but it sure made her high school years tough. She worked hard to make it through and the staff of AHS were very helpful to her and us. I had to take excuses and check her in and out so many times they should have given me a reserved parking space!
