"The Return of the King........"

Auburn Brethren,

Auburn Football that should always be has returned, hopefully never to be lost again. This is the Auburn Football your Sobertiger has pleaded to see and vigorously defended against all "join us in the modern game" pollyannas via missives on this Board since the mid-1990's. Run the Ball/Stop the Run. Consistently be the #1 school of choice for every 5-Star running back headed to the college game. The King has indeed returned.

The tiresome pretenders who were allowed to head our ship of state - Tiny Terry and Jungle Tuberville - have thankfully melted into the past where they will hopefully be forgotten. Malzhan is running the ball 65% of the time or more and we are consistently winning. The Evil Empire is truly afraid and they should be.

We lost tonight, but one should lose an evenly matched MNC unless you make every play you can. We blew at least 3 scoring opportunities (Marshall had Uzomah wide open for 6 on the 2nd to last series where we had to take the FG), failure to get a defensive stop or two (and much of the credit for those goes to a fine FSU club), a special teams gaffe and an INT, and that was the ballgame.

But what a magnificent year and what a program that is in the midst of being built to PERENNIAL greatness. Heisman, Jordan, Dye and now Malzahn - Truth, Beauty and Goodness in football has returned to our beloved Plains. And fear of Auburn is again known throughout the land.

Your Sobertiger's work here is done. Now I will visit the Board to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Here's to a beautiful year of REAL Auburn Football!

War Eagle,

Sobertiger

Run the ball; Stop the run. 3 things happen on a pass play and 2 of them are VERY bad.
