ANDALUSIA, Ala.-- Summer and Steven Steele had a new baby boy on Dec. 17 and they named him Krimson Tyde.
Weighing in at seven pounds and five ounces, Krimson suffered a health setback on Saturday that landed him back in doctor's care.
The little guy's milk was changed and he was sent home with medicine.
"He's still having stomach issues," his mom said.
She's surprised at the media attention as well as some of the vitriol she's received for naming her baby after the team they love.
"I'm very shocked, I didn't think people would make a very big deal about it," said Steele.
Krimson has two brothers, Trenton and Dawson that are glad to act as big brothers.
The family's approval is all they care about.
"To people speaking negatively about us naming him Krimson, it's not their child nor family member so if they have nothing nice to say they don't need to say nothing at all," Steele said.
Steele took to Facebook to clarify the baby's gender after some media outlets erroneously reported that Krimson was a girl.
25 girls in Alabama named Crimson and six girls named Auburn born in 2012.
