Sorry about that Oregon, but football fashion faux pas don't get any worse than some of your unis. Though Maryland tried, they did not quite reach the levels of awful that you have attained at various times in the past few years.
Of course the snooty we are better than you Stanford Cardinal/tree attitude sort of evens things out, but at least they are nerdy enough not to go with eye-pain inducing unis. I would love to hear Queer Eye's take on the fluorescent green-yellow Oregon wears.==============================
Yes, the students are snooty, as are the alums. But that is high-powered education. And they can't hide the football players in easy classes and majors (only relatively easy classes and majors).
Plus, they play beautiful football. Smart, tough, rugged, and precise.
I am biased as both of my daughters have high school friends who are defensive linemen for Stanford. One of them had his name called many times by Rece Davis last night.
If Stanford were more the norm, rather than the exception for college football, the world would be a better place.
