What's the weirdest thing you have seen that you can't explain?
I am post surgery, having to sit still with my foot up and trying to amuse myself. It's Monster Week on Animal Planet, so I am watching all these bigfoot, monster, etc shows and thought we might get some excellent stories from this board. I am sure we will all be trumped by a BB story of Elvis and Bigfoot sharing a peanut butter and nanner sandwich.
I have heard lots of strange #badword# back in my hunting and fishing days but the one thing I can't explain is seeing what I thought was a panther. It was about 2 am crossing the road in front of me in about two leaps as I drove home late from work one night. It was brown, large with a long tail and looked like a cat. It was much bigger than a dog. I asked a wildlife guy and he said there were not supposed to be in north Mississippi. It may or may not have been a "panther" but it was big and startled my ass.
