"Southern League Update"

On the way back from the ancestral home today, I stopped off at the new Barons park. Very, very pleasant place to watch a game.  The Barons beat the Biscuits, 7-3. The Montgomery team was undone by a lumpy mix of poor relief pitching and a bad call or two. The Biscuits are always vulnerable to home cooking. In the end, the Montgomery nine tried valiantly but simply could not rise to the occasion.  I still get Montgomery Biscuits updates by email because years ago Tiger Jack signed me up for them without asking.  I am glad he did that.
