I remember to this day the first day I went to Auburn. I went with a friend of mine to a game down there. Had been a fan since Bo's freshman year, but didn't get to an actual game until 1986; the Tennessee game. Walked around campus in amazement. And then followed the crowds to Toomer's Corner after the game. My friend's parents had brought some TP, and disbursed it to my friend, myself and anyone around that wanted to participate. It was a magical, awesome experience. I spent a lot of time around those trees. My first Toomer's lemonade was under those trees. I will miss them. And hope that when I get to heaven, there will be two large oaks on either side of the pearly gates. God bless Auburn!
