I don't remeber why I wanted to post this, but...
here it is.

The use of pornography is tied to school shootings in that both objectify people and therefore justify treating them only as a means to my own uses and ends. And both rise from a culture in an identity crisis.
Violence counterfeits genuine significance -- the longing of the human soul to matter and make an impact.
Pornography counterfeits true intimacy -- the longing of the human soul for love.
Having lost our way spiritually we do not know who we are and why we matter. So we choose cheap counterfeits for the real thing and the culture is coarsened and made darker.
I know this is a sermon but it is what I do and you do not have to read it.
