Slive has told AU, UK and UT they cannot hire Petrino. Doesn't want him in the SEC. TIFWIW...which is insider on the intrawebz...so Petrino has probably already been hired by AU==============================
If AU hires Petrino it will hard for me to support the athletic program. I cannot see myself being able to attend games or to care very much about football while he is at AU if he comes. I know we have our dark side and our flaws and warts but I have always thought we were better than a school that would hire a man like that to be the most public face of the university. I believe it will be a shameful act and will disgrace the name of Auburn. I am troubled that Chisik has done such a poor job but even that is better than hiring a man whose character is what Petrino has displayed his entire career.
If we hire him it will be to our eternal discredit.
