Exhaustive research on the Rebel Bears 9 victories in 36 tries against Auburn reveals that a full third of those wins were accumulated in 1949, 1951, and 1952. I don't know if freshmen were eligible in 1949. And I am not going to look it up. If they were, then there would certainly be Rebel players who were 3-0 against AU between 49 and 52. AU won in 1953, so a 1949 frosh who was redshirted in 1950 conceivably could have gone 3-1 against Auburn, again assuming freshmen were eligible in 1949.

 

The other Ole Miss wins were in 1928, 1965, 1992, 1999, 2003, and 2008.
