The Nick Fairley in obscurity in 09 card is overplayed. He was one of our best defensive linemen in the last 2 regular season games of 09 and the bowl game. He was tough versus Bama in 09. Don't know if his stats were great, but I was at the game and he was definitely a big part of the effort that shut Mark Ingram down. He bloomed late, but the bloom appeared in 09.
