"Speaking of Trees and monuments to replace them"

CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN:
END OF CONTEXT

The picture below is the only monument to a tree I have seen.  It is associated with a far more serious incident (how many of you remember the Axe Murder Incident and Operation Paul Bunyan) but perhaps an idea if they go with something other than replanting large trees.  Markers in the sidewalk where each of the trees stood and then put cables back up where they used to be across the intersection that could be taken down when not needed.  In keeping with the marker below the following words seem appropriate.

"On this spot stood one of two live oak trees that were a symbol of the Auburn Spirit to generations of Auburn fans.  For over 40 years the "rolling of Toomer's Corner" and the trees was a happy, harmless tradition for the Auburn Family following athletic victories.  Unfortunately, durring the Football Tiger's 2010 National Championship run, an Alabama supporter poisoned the trees in an attempt to harm the Auburn Family.  He never understood that the trees were merely a symbol of the Auburn Spirit that will live forever."

We have been told that the following do not represent the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and its fan base:

Harvey Updyke poisoning trees -- Fat bulldozer operator in the “I Hate Auburn” shirt -- Tailgate Brawlers

T-town Menswear -- Public Address Operator at the stadium -- Druck chick at the airport to welcome saben

Bammer with a knife on Auburn’s Frat Row -- Guy who shot his son after a bammer loss -- 100s more

How long does this list have to be to start representing the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and its fan base?
