good points. i thought the momentum swing was big. i could feel it and so could the teams. au began to doubt itself and doubt that its offense could win this for them. the d tried hard, but could not make up for the first public ackowledgement that trotter 'may not be that guy' and attention is moving to frazier. we knew we lost in the mid third qyuarter. the last minutes of the game were acknowledgement hat they were better last night. prolly tmw also. but not Tuesday.
but give us more time and we'll become average in the sec: which is a better position than undefeated in the big 12. and with a little more time we'll be better than average. and things will continue to improve.
derek dooley had a quote about winning. having been in teh sec and college football for all of his life and have never known any other occupation, that winning is like evverything else in life. is that it is cycles. some teams never reach the highs or lows of other teams because thier infrastructure is better, or their facilities are better, or the town where the school is people just don't want to g o to given any chance. those that manage those variable best have higher winning cycles and the opposite holds true for those who do not, or cannot (as in geography), manage/use/whatever.
i think we have the right manager of variables in place.
as i said before, i got something last year which i have wanted for years. Decades. And I got it. I can sit this year out in terms of expectations knowinng that the managemnt in place is doing a great job. except for those jackets gene wears during games.
