Do you really think if AU was "behaving" and winning two or three times every 10 years that your buddy Updyke would have killed the trees, that your point man Sheridan would throw away what little credibility he has on a line of BS, that that fat construction workers would be wearing "I hate Auburn" shirts to SEC media days while taking a day off with out pay to see the Lord God saban say I hate these *(&(*&(*). Sure, the Bahr would rather beat the Cow College once than Texas ten times but it was all fun and games from 1959 to 1981. Life was good, sure the Barn had those three wins at the turn of the decade, but that was an anomaly. The Bahr put them back in their place, it's all good. Then came 1982 and AU has refused to comply since. That's what has raised the rhetoric.
Sure, the internet and sports talk radio have made it worse, but I haven't seen any acts of violence or destruction against UT, MSU, or OM from the tide nation. Why,because they haven't pushed back against the mighty tahd,well except for Phat Phil dropping a dime on Dumbose. And after he did that he had to call it in to media days because of that level headed fan base of yours.
