I think it's stupid of schools who align themselves with Nike to assume that the kids want these goofy uniform changes. I doubt Georgia athletes will appreciate the barbs they'll be getting on PTI & around the horn this week and for the rest of this season. There's no reason to pit this on their kids.
Further, I doubt kids who play high school football in the South respect these affronts to tradition.
My proudest moment last night was when Coach Miles grabbed Mathieu, pushed him to the front of his teammates, put his arm around him & together they sang our Alma Mater. An LSU fan who died in 1960 would have recognized his team, his team's uniform & his alma mater.
These things matter in the South.
