CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN: END OF CONTEXT http://www.trackemtigers.com/2011/7/25/2291503/officially-at-war-auburn-and-alabama-inch-closer Here is an article by Jay Coulter that collects some relevant facts and makes 1/2 of a good case.   The point is that the "acts of war" -- endless Cam rumors, Danny Sheridan drive by, Toomer Oaks Poisoning -- are all from one side.   What has Auburn done to escalate to hostilities?  The answer is easy.  Auburn has won football games.   Auburn has dared to stand on equal -- or better -- footing with THETAHD.   No need for more that ordinary hostility from the UAT side as long as AU accepted status as good natured loser.  But the uppity behavior of insisting on playing every other year on AU home turf (real grass) and then having the temerity to win 17 of the last 30 was apparently a tractor pull too far for UAT to take.
