CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN: END OF CONTEXT My Dad died on Thursday, May 12, 2011.  We had the funeral yesterday and it was very cathartic for me.  He was a WW II vet and had a military honor guard at the grave site.  They presented the flag to my Mom and played Taps.  Very moving. This was expected.  He had Alzheimer's and had slipped rapidly.  He was a man of great faith and is in a much better place.  While it was sad to lose him, it was much worse to see the man that raised me waste away. The family asked that donations be made to the tornado victims in Alabama instead of flowers.  My Dad had his house destroyed by a tornado when he was a young boy and he was hit in the head and was in a coma several days.  He lost a younger sister, Sara in that tornado.  I thought the tribute very fitting. Just wanted my WHAB friends and family to know.
