I didn't respond to Dbables 5 questions, but I can tell you that if I ever have to leave where I am now, Auburn would be my only choice. In high school, I pumped gas at a local gas station. (No one pumps gas for customers anymore....and that is a damn shame.)
While doing so, there was a man...he came by every Sat night just before closing to fill his Ford station wagon. He had a cousin who played football for Auburn...."Franklin Fuller" was his name.
Being an UGA fan all my life, he made a point to tell me that if I ever gave up the gas bidness and went to school, I wouldn't do better than at Auburn. My HS buddy and I toured Clemson, UF, UGA, and GTech before deciding that Auburn was it.
As I have said before, I didn't choose Auburn....Auburn chose me. And I am damn lucky she did, right there under the awning at Toomer's Drug Store.
