CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN: END OF CONTEXT Those were what, 130 year old trees? You just can't put another one in the ground. Hell, you may not be able to put ANYTHING in the ground for a few years unless the soil is replaced. Such an act is an abomination regardless of the reason it was done. The fact that it was done because of a football team or a #badword#ing sticker on a statue just makes it that much more tragic. Obviously the trees mean more than that to AU fans and to all SEC fans, and that makes it all the more infuriating. I just can't imagine somebody being a big enough scumbag to do this.
