"I Don't Understand This"

CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN:
END OF CONTEXT
You don't respect him because he is a comedian? Or because he says he is a comedian, not a journalist, and you don't believe him despite the fact that he has nearly two decades of standup experience, has acted in comedies, and the Daily Show is on a network called Comedy Central? When he says he is a comedian, he is definitely admitting what he is. It is not his fault that some folks can't distinguish satire from seriousness.
How anyone can get their nose out of joint over what a comedian says about politics escapes me.
Despite his clever and funny way of getting his points across, whenever he himself is called on the facts, he hides behind the "but I am only a comedian doing entertainment". The others at least admit what they are and what their biases are.
