Someone should have painted the statue Burnt Orange and Navy Blue, at a minimum. Hobbesssssss' idea about the rye grass is a good one, too.
It should be the kind of paint that easily washes off, of course. I am not advocating vandalism.
Pranks are a part of college and have been a part of college football since Princeton played Rutgers in 1869. I see no reason to change that merely because Auburn won the BCS game. But I would like to see more wit and originality.
My favorite Auburn prank story is the greasing the train tracks story so that the train carrying Georgia Tech's football team could not stop at the station in Auburn. Even if that story is not true, it should be.
