Because I don't get it. OK, I like a couple of his songs. But why the cult following? Is it to be cool and wear ugly shirts, flip flops and get sloppy drunk along with other 50 year olds? Is that the attraction? Is it the sing-along-ness of a few of his songs? Is it the reminder that Buffet is a glorified beach bum that we all aspire to be someday? I don't get it.
And parrots are messy, smelly, loud animals that need to stay in the jungle.
