"Well, just in time, we got our new LG 47" plasma TV"

CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN:
END OF CONTEXT
Actually not in time at all-it arrived Tuesday morning January 11th. So I am now finally getting to see what all of you have been raving about. I have watched us beat Oregon every which way and the glow does not fade, nor will it ever. I was born on June 17, 1957, and have waited 53 years for this-now you all know how old I am. I have Sullivan and Beasley's autographs. I was in New Orleans when they lost to Oklahoma, in the Sugar Bowl. I was at home listening on the radio when we beat Bama in '72, and Gusty Yearout went incoherent whooping it up. This was after when Coach Bryant was asked how it would fell to beat Texas for the National Championship, and he responded, "I'd rather beat that cow college 100 times..." I was in the marching band when Barfield was our coach and we lost game after game, but still supported and loved our Tigers. I was in med school when Bo started, and in residency when he finished at Auburn. I got married in 1989, and took my brand new husband to The First Time Ever. We were there in 1993 when, "Out of the shotgun Patrick Nix. Alabama bringing everyone. Nix is gonna float one for Sanders, Sanders oh! he caught it! and he dived in! Touchdown Auburn, Touchdown Auburn, oh my goodness Touchdown Auburn!" We were there in 1997 when Dameyune Craig put a team on his back and carried the Auburn family, down to a last 42 second 18-17 Jaret Holmes kick through the uprights. And hearing Carl Stevens politely ask the fans to not throw the goalposts over the top of the stadium, and watching the fans just as politely handing the goalposts back down. And enjoying the magnificent heroes of 2004 and their bittersweet quest for glory, watching and hearing the media the same as it has been in my entire lifetime-"Auburn is never going to be the best, because WE will NEVER allow it; WE will never allow Auburn ANY respect, WE will never allow Auburn to feel good about ANY victory in football as it is in our power." I grew up in a state where the only people who loved Auburn and expressed it in the media were in my hometown. So I am irrationally happy, and will never give this season back to anyone. I am also going to watch this MNC game everyday until I die because it feels like absolution has finally been given. And also because the TV picture is so awesome! War Damn Eagle Forever.

"A person's a person no matter how small"-Horton, from Horton hears a Who, by Dr. Seuss

"If he's from Auburn and he lines up behind the quarterback, just keep him healthy and give him the ball. Swiss watches, Palm Springs sunshine, blue-chip mutuals, Auburn running backs."
