"I May Be A Spinmeister"

CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN:
END OF CONTEXT

But I have seen the game 4 times and you are full of #badword# as usual.

Y'all were awesome in the 1st half on offense.  We looked scared and unprepared,  and y'all looked like the superior team.

But we took those "opportunities" away from you, with the exception of the Richardson drop. Ingram got caught by a DE on a great play and stripped. At AU, the backs are generally fast enough not to be caught by linemen 30 yards downfield, but that is beside the point. Great play by AU with a bit of luck on the bounce. But there were AU players available to recover that fumble had it not rolled 20 plus yards.

Fairley's play at the end of the first half was a great play. That was a three step drop which is standard redzone play. No other defensive tackle in the SEC gets there in time to cause that fumble. And he then outhustled your team to recover it.

You passed a greater percentage of your plays in the second half than in the first. In the first half you ran 25 pass plays and 14 runs (I'm counting sacks as pass plays because that is what they are). In the second half, you ran 21 pass plays and 11 running plays. You just weren't as successful because AU's pass rush wouldn't let you go down the field and the short routes did not pop for big gainers like they did in the first half.

Your problem is you can't run the ball consistently against a good run defense, and when D backs press down on the receivers, you can't protect long enough to throw the ball dowbn the field against a decent pass rush.

Auburn is better than Bama. Period. On a neutral field, AU would win 8/10 times. You won't admit that, but I think deep down you know it is true.

Bama is a better than average team this year, but it cannot be classified as good, because its running game is not up to the standards of 08 and 09 and the D is inconsistent. Good teams do not lose when they lead by 24 on their home field. Period.
