I was on the fence. I don't have cable so I haven't been slammed with ESPN nonsense, but I have thought, over the past month, maybe Auburn people are going a little hard on ESPN. The radio side of ESPN seemed to be relatively fair.
Then I saw the clip of Holtz throwing the helmet.
Auburn didn't even have a game Saturday. This was simply cashing in on a hot-button topic; fuel on the fire. For ESPN, an entity that probably makes more $ than any other on college football, to broadcast such righteousness was sickening, and if that program at all indicative of what's been broadcast over the past month, I'd be sick of it too.
