when we have a freshman running back quietly breaking Bo Jackson's records and who in combination with a sophomore running back quietly has more yards than the combination of last year's junior Heisman trophy winner and his trusty 5 star sophomore sidekick this in addition to Cam's yardage which exceeds their yardage combined.
Not to mention the big nasties in front of Cam and a pretty good corps of receivers who would catch anything thrown near them which a couple of our other QBs could certainly do. .
And let's not forget the evil Nick Fairley who has gotten a reputation for "driving quarterbacks into the ground". So much so that the opposing coaches have whined not to the league, but to the media about it. And, maybe it's just because of Fairley but I have heard the names Brandon Mosley and Nosa Eguae called a lot too.
Now. Would I say that Auburn would be 11-0 at this point without Cam. Probably not. But we would not be hopeless. Others would step up their game probably and could see 9-2 or 8-3 at worst and a better chance than last year of beating Alabama. Probably still better than we had expected out of this year
