My beloved OLE MISS had the chance to show it stood for Real REBELS like ME. The mascot could have been "CHARLIE THE REBEL". I am the only supreme symbol of rebels destroying the enemy on the field, while liberating the little children. Want a true REBEL? It could have been CHARLIE THE REBEL. But, no. The so-called "rebel" ESTABLISHMENT got scared. They were scared of me because they knew I would stand for true rebels and that I might teach your children to be FREE and not grow up to be molds for the apocalypse. A black #badword#ing bear. What a beat off. Looks scary, but runs to the first cave around to hibernate when the going gets tough. It should have been CHARLIE THE REBEL. Actually that's pretty good in this ranking. But I'm really confused. I thought Alabama had the business people and we were just a bunch of farmers. Hmmmmmm...... FEATURE STORIES Auburn ranked among world’s leading Executive MBA programs in Financial Times survey 1:37 PM, October 28, 2010 AUBURN - In its latest survey of global Executive MBA, or EMBA, programs, the Financial Times has ranked Auburn's program 35th in the nation and 75th in the world. This is the second consecutive year the Auburn University College of Business has appeared in the ranking, which is in its 10th year. In 2009, the Auburn EMBA was ranked 40th among U.S.-based programs and 84th globally. From the Southeastern Conference, only three other schools, Vanderbilt University, the University of Georgia and the University of Tennessee, made it into the rankings. The ranking is compiled from surveys of EMBA alumni three years post-graduation and from information provided by the business school. The survey evaluated 16 criteria in three areas including alumni career progression; school diversity and international reach; and idea generation and research productivity of the faculty. Dean Bill Hardgrave credited the ranking to the faculty and staff who have worked to build Auburn's program over the past decade and to the quality students the program attracts and produces. "To be recognized internationally by such a prestigious publication validates our commitment to innovative, yet practical, education ultimately leading to student success, said Hardgrave." "The Auburn EMBA is a gateway to career progression and salary growth, as evidenced by the Financial Times ranking," said Dan Gropper, associate dean of MBA programs. "I am pleased that our alumni credit the program for the post-graduate opportunities afforded to them. Such recognition further enhances the reputation of the entire university." The Auburn EMBA is a 21-month program that combines on-campus residency weeks with distance education and an international study experience.
