Auburn took a pretty good series of smashmouth football for 60+ mins.
No, this team is not ready to contend for an MNC.....or even beat teh mighty Tahd. Wayne knows they aren't even ready to run past anyone on the schedule. But, good Wayne willing and if teh creek don't rise, they will learn from this "near miss" and continue to win.
I am on record for not liking the hire of Chizick (519), but at this point I am willing to give him and his staff the benefit of doubt. If they #badword# up, I'll be there to tell the news. But aside from coaches and whatever mistakes they made, I am especially proud that Auburn did't accept the halftime score and chose to get up and make things different. Sometimes you have to have a will to win.
If there is one thing to take from tonight it is that they did not give up and that they continued to continue....and with a winning attitude. Perhaps the coaches for Auburn were working against this effort....I don't know...I am not that smart. All I know is that those young men cared not for what anyone was thinking....they just knew that they were in one helluva bar fight and if personal will to win had anything to do with it........they would win.
Being the #badword# or prick that I may be, and for what it is worth....I am damn proud to be an Auburn Tiger tonight.
