"I Don't Think Bradley Is Evil"

He's just lazy. Bradley is the epitome of mediocre. He has been at the AJC forever. Back when newspapers mattered more the AJC had a good sports section with some excellent writers. Almost all of that talent has adopted to the new information age and gone on to bigger and better things. While Tony Barnhardt is still "affiliated" with the AJC, he is no longer an employee and probably makes much of his money from his CBS gig and his own books. Dave Kindred is long gone. Len Pasquarelli gone. Mark Schlabaugh(sp?) gone. The list goes on and on. I think it is more a newspaper thing than an AJC thing. Meanwhile Bradley has stayed right there, because no one wants to hire him for anything bigger or better. His column mostly goes unnoticed because he is not a particilarly good writer, nor does he seem to work very hard at it. But he is not so awful as he needs to be fired, either.

This is his idea of being controversial. It is a weak-ass editorial, delivered without much thought. But its primary sin is that it is not funny, even when he is skewering other programs. His thesis is that  AU fans are obnoxious because they want to win and Bobby Lowder is an AU alum and Tubs got fired. That kind of feeble analysis is not even worth a poast monkey on this board. By geometric logic, that means that BB, who undoubtedly knows a guy who has a relative whose stockbroker's son was fraterternity brothers with Bradley's only friend at UK, is a more interesting writer than Bradley.

So, the article is not worth getting upset about.

Now, if he's having sex with collies, then that is upsetting, particularly for the poor collies who would undoubtedly choose a more attaractive partner if they had opposable thumbs and could call escort services and such. But I can't speak to your allegation about his sexual proclivities with collies. I just don't know anything about that.
