"we the people" have a process to alter laws AND the constitution. No generation is a slave to the desires of the previous generation.
Riddle me this then. Why did a generation think it necessary to make illegal alcohol that they must amend the Constitution? Why did another generation find the same power that necessitated a Constitutional amendment previously within the powers of the Fed (ie. making drugs illegal) without a Constitutional amendment? We had a process but now we only have whatever the majority think is Constitutional, the laws and the Constitution be damned!

Have you seen what all the #badword#ing great society promises and new deal tricks and Obamacare have coming down the pipe? By the time my son graduates from college the national debt will be inexcess of GDP. The national promises will exceed the entire worth of every family in America. Now perhaps you can either through sheer ignorance or blind partisanship excuse, dither or ear-finger-#badword#-yourself into believing this is not enslaving the next generation. You will find yourself in vast company. However blindly we head toward oblivion, please spare me the sacrosanct bull#badword# about this generation or that. This generation and the Johnson generation and the FDR generation have piled massive indebtedness onto my children because soon the game will end. Soon the abililty to postpone this nightmare will stop. And then exactly what you say cannot happen will happen. The die is cast. Go on pretending how great we self-righteous people of today are . . . pretending to house everyone, feed everyone, cloth everyone, treat everyone, retiring everyone . . . all while contining to defray the real cost . . . rolling before us a generational ass #badword#ing of monumental proportions.
