it is good for the SEC for Bama to be a good team and to win things. One hears such things from those who do not know any better.
It is akin to people who say "Communism is really not so bad" or
"a little small pox from time to time makes us stronger" or
"shooting someone several times through both lungs can be the first step
to new reality for them."
It is never good for the SEC, for sports, for America for Bama to ever win at
anything . Ever. There are no exceptions, mitigating
circumstances or momentary suspensions of this principle. The
temptation will be to come upon a circumstance where a victory by Alabama will seem like a
positive thing because it appears to lead to some larger, greater good. (i.e. --If Alabama wins this game it will mean that the nuclear device in the
orphanage will not detonate)Do not be
fooled by such sentimental and false notions.There are things which are always true.A) Bacon should be served with every course at every meal and goes with
everything. B) There is no crying in baseball.
C) No good will ever come from Alabama
winning anything.Ever.
