It concludes that Davie's portrayal of the incident did not reflect the full story and could have given the viewer an impression of a conflict of interest.
This criticism is illogical and unfair, as it assumes that Davie 1) was capable of collecting all the pertinent facts; 2) was capable of understanding those facts; and 3) was capable of explaining how those facts were relevant to the issues.
We all know that Davie is way too big of a dumb#badword# to be able to do that. Thus, to criticize him for not doing it is the journalistic equivalent of mocking retarded people. I find that insensitive.
