He chose this lifestyle.
Sure, there is pressure to succeed, but he does NOT have the fate of the entire athletic department on his shoulders. If he loses a few football games he might get fired, but the football stadium will still be full, and the money will still be flowing in. I cannot imagine how bad the football team would have to perform to for UF's athletic budget to actually take a hit.
So, he loses his job, and he either retires or takes a job at a smaller school for less money. That can create some stress, but not nearly as much stress as a factory worker who's hours have been cut back and is has taken a second job just to try to make the mortgage payment. If THAT guy checks into the hospital with stress related problems, HE gets my sympathy.
Urban just needs to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up.
