Should the unthinkable happen and bama is winning the game a cheer will erupt form the bama faithful "Hey Texas! Hey Texas! Auburn would have beat the hell out of you! Rammer jammer yellowhammer Auburn's almost as good as alabammer"! As time expires I can just see the confetti cannons shooting off and players hugging on the field. The platform is rolled out and Saban climbs up on the platform and onto a special step stool next to the presenter. The announcer congratulates him and the team for their great season and presents him with the crystal football. The first question that follows the presentation is "Nick does this demonstrate what a truly great team Auburn had this year?" Nick will shrug and say "Aight. It is what it is. We feel lucky to have played Texas tonight instead of having to face Auburn again." All night long on SportsCenter Stuart Scott boo-yahs about how close Auburn came to beating bama and how impressive that close loss was. To commemorate the loss the BCS commissions a slightly smaller crystal football for Auburn. Every bama fan while excited about their eleventy jillionth championship feels compelled to fly Auburn flags on their vehicles and concede that Auburn really did have a good team. In a surprise move Obama invites both bama and Auburn to the White House to congratulate them on their spectacular seasons. Yeah. That's probbaly how it would play out. Sure we'll look soooooo much better if they win.
