This season is a positive no matter what happens with Bama and no matter what happened Sat. I was serious when I predicted us to go 4 and 8. And everyone reading this post, after watching this season, could see that happening in retrospect. The defense we are capable of on a good day was on display in the OM game. Where it came from I have no idea. I did not expect it nor do I expect to see it again this year. The offense we displayed in the UT game was unexpected . . . especially after last year.
Some times other teams are just better than you . . . for whatever reason . . . Bama is a better team. OM was a better team too. Some of the others may or may not be. But you can expect the type of inconsistent play we have gotten when you have a team as thin as ours.
I ain't sold on the coaching staff just yet . . . but what they have done this season is no reason to hang our heads.
