This site did not evolve from the primordial ether, but rather is the product of the intelligent design of its creator, who even in the earliest days knew what he wanted this place to become. It has a selective gravitational pull that has no effect on some, but captures others with no hope of escape -- individuals with myriad political viewpoints, religious perspectives, inexplicable corn dog aromas, collegiate allegiances, senses of humor, professional competencies, spelling abilities (will someone please explain "poast" to me -- I was absent for the birth of that one), and thicknesses of skin. It has seen births and deaths and marriages and divorces and successes and failures. It has changed lives.
Congratulations to Wayne, the old-time pioneers, the newcomers whom I don't know, and all who have made WHAB the sui generis corner of the WWW that it is.
