This national, red kool-aid sippage is scheduled for four days before the MSU at AU pigskin tilt. Four days! Just enough time to have an impact on the ignorant who will take this message seriously.

Clearly this is a blatant attempt to divert attention from MSU at AU, the most important football game of the year for both institutions the weekend of September 12. It is a cynical ruse to damage the reputations of the two football titans by using children of fans to sway them against attending the game. National champions do not play before empty stadia. A green initiative? More like pink, I say to you.
The game is scheduled to be televised by ESPNU, "U" for university. Does anyone really believe that Obammer's message will not also be force fed to the highly impressionable when intoxicated residents of fraternity houses? Do we expect the Miss Lillians of the plains to provide needed perspective during this audio-visual assault? No. ESPNU color common taters at the game will point out the low attendance, implying that viewers obviously should turn their baby blues to more important issues such as brown-outs.
Cower not before this perfidy. Rather fly your colors proudly as the orange, blue, maroon and white take to the green for the color and pageantry of college football. Let the yellow rags fly upon fouls. Let orange and blue shakers of all colors be waved with glee. And let amber waves flow in the rooms of respite beneath the huddled masses yearning to be free of defeat.
