In 2003, I went to hang out with one of my good bammer buddies and went the Arkansas / bammer game instead of the AU/WKU game for the sole purpose of cheering on Arkansas from the bammer student section. Arkansas won, and I made a few enemies. It was a great day. Also, in '05 I was the only person in my group of so called Auburn friends cheering for LSU against bammer (when the bammer win would have sent us to the SECCG). I caught so much #badword# that night (LSU still had to play Arkie, so no way in hell was I cheering for bammer). My closest Auburn friends didn't grow up in Alabama, so they just didn't understand. Now that we've moved on, and they have lived in other areas of Alabama they are starting to come over to my side of the fence. Especially since sabear has come on board and the bammers' smug-o-meter is back pegged on the redline.
